Gidgee Healing was delighted to host Emma McBride MP, Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention/Assistant Minister for Rural and Regional Health, to our headspace facility in Mount Isa.  

The Assistant Minister was in town to open a Medicare Mental Health centre and took the opportunity to visit our West Street facility and hear first-hand about the great work being performed.  The Assistant Minister was accompanied by a team from Western Queensland Primary Health Network.  

headspace Mount Isa is a free health service for young people ages 12-25. We offer free support in person, over
the phone and as well as video appointments. These services include advice and listening, brief interventions, counselling by qualified professionals and help with school, work and study.
