Nukal Murra
Nukal Murra Health Support Services aims to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people accessing culturally appropriate mainstream services and care for Chronic Diseases.
To be eligible for the program and services, patients must meet the following criteria:
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- 6 months of age or older
- Current GPMP – 721 and TCA – 723
- Diagnosed with a Chronic Disease which may include but not limited to:
- Cardiovascular disease
- Chronic respiratory disease
- Cancer
- Diabetes
- Chronic kidney disease
- Mental health
Nukal Murra can assist clients with:
- BSL Machines
- BP Machines
- Spectacles
- Footwear
- Mobility Aids
- CPAP Machines
- Respiratory Aids
- Transport (TOTTS transport, taxi vouchers or bookings to help attend appointments)
